Despachos Portuarios Hispaniola (DPH)

DPH was created over 14 years ago by an association of importers in the Dominican Republic to handle international commerce logistics. Servicing over 50 shipping lines that represent more than 66,000 importers, information management is a critical component of everyday operations.

In order to better serve all users, DPH was in need of information systems that could deliver up-to-date and useful information to their clients regardless of their location. They needed to share information about containers, shipping logs, arrival times, taxes and custom fees on an easy-to-use web application.

Solution

An integrated Web Application that allowed importers to perform various operations without even leaving their offices. Simple tasks like tracking the location of freights containers or making payments was now one click away, saving time for the client and improving response time.

Technology

The application was developed under the Microsoft .net 2.0 Framework and the ASP.NET Platform.
